At First Baptist, we’re partnered with USF, Glory House, Lowell Elementary School, Camp Judson, and Arise! Ukraine to support them in a variety of tangible ways—by collecting items to donate, giving to missionaries, supporting students, and much more. Additionally, 10% of our offerings is distributed among our five mission partners.

Founded in 1883, the University of Sioux Falls, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is a Christian, Liberal Arts University affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A. USF is an independent, not-for-profit institution.
Dedicated faculty intentionally integrate faith and learning, helping students to discover their career calling and preparing them to serve God and humankind. USF alumni live out the Culture for Service motto in their professions, families and communities.
How we partner:
- Hosting various USF events
- Providing financial support for campus ministries
- Planning intentional times of connection through
move-in day, worship nights, or more USF events!
The mission of Glory House is Helping People Claim their Lives with Christian Compassion, Resources and Support. Both residential and outpatient clients participate in programs that treat substance abuse and other mental health issues. Clients address irresponsible thinking patterns and develop life skills and positive habits that promote accountability and improve family relationships.
Glory House clients come from many cultures and have a wide diversity beliefs. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Each client develops a treatment plan that meets his or her individual needs.
How we partner:
- Hold various clothing drives for the residents
- Providing financial support
- Interact with residents through serving meals
Lowell is a public elementary school located in the heart of Sioux Falls. They are 1 of 10 schools in the district that partcipate in the Title I program.
First established by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, the Title I program continues to be the largest federally funded educational program. With a goal of “leveling the playing field,” Title I funds are available to schools with the highest level of poverty, as determined by the percentage of students qualifying for free or reduced lunch.
How we partner:
- Volunteer with Neighborhood Soccer
- Provide teachers with encouraging notes, meals, and classroom materials
- Hold clothing drives for students in need
Arise! Ukraine is a non-profit ministry established in 1997 by missionary, Paul Logan. Its purpose is to see Ukraine saturated with living communities of believers where the transforming power of the gospel is reaching every area of society–giving every man, woman and child in the country the opportunity to be reconciled to the Father and to each other.
Since 2022, Paul and his wife, Nastia, Logan have been committed to making the name of Jesus known through war relief efforts.
How we partner:
- Financial and ministry support for war relief
- Help with ministry mailings at the Sioux Falls office
- Host Paul and Nastia in homes when they are in the states
Camp Judson can be found on a beautiful 160 acres in the black hills. It is claimed the name of “second home” for many adolescents who spend a week of their summers there.
What began around 1926 with a vision to help young people come to know and grow in Jesus through a summer camp experience has continued to grow into a year-round ministry for youth, adults and families.

- Financial support to year-round ministry
- Send students to camp with care kits
- Supporting Adult Counselors to go to camp
