At KidZone, we love kids! We design creative, fun, and interactive lessons for every age and stage with music, games, and storytelling. Kids learn about God’s love in a dynamic way each week because we know it matters. We want kids to make friends, have fun, and learn about Jesus in real and relevant ways.

Our vision is to partner with families as we guide kids to put their faith in Jesus. Our leaders are dedicated and give their time, talent, and energy so that your kids (birth – 5th grade) can flourish. KidZone is available in person every Sunday.

What to Expect
Parents/Guardians will check-in your kids at the KidZone Check-In Station located on 1st floor. Each child receives a name tag and the adult receives a pick-up tag that needs to be presented once the service is over. One of our team members will walk with you to the KidZone rooms the first time you come.
Nursery – 1st Floor
Preschool – 1st Floor
Elementary – 3rd Floor
All of our KidZone volunteers have been through a screening process, including a background check, and training. We are excited to serve you and your family!

Nursery
Nursery care is provided for children ages birth through 3 years old. All kids are loved and cared for by dedicated KidZone staff and volunteers who believe that kids and their families matter!
Preschool & Elemenatry
Preschool and elementary children experience a variety of activities during their lessons including singing, learning from God’s word, participating in hands-on activities and engaging in meaningful conversations with their leaders.

What will my child learn in KidZone?
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative lessons and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, Small Groups, and video teaching.
How do I register my kids?
Click on the Register for KidZone button above or come to the KidZone Check-In area on 1st floor when you arrive. Our volunteers will be there to assist you and to walk you to your child’s class.
What if you need to get in touch with me during the service?
You will receive a text during the service if there is any concern about your child. If your child has a difficult time at drop-off, you can request a “smile text” once they settle in.
Will my child make friends at First Baptist KidZone?
Absolutely! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child build relationships with other kids. We’re passionate about supporting them in each stage of life.
When you commit to attending the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.
What about safety?
We take security and safety seriously at First B. KidZone volunteers are background checked, and a matching tag system is used to drop off and pick up children. Our safety team is in the building during all services. They are trained to handle emergencies.
